Although best known for his surrealist and visionary art of the psychedelic era - especially the album covers he produced for the likes of Miles Davis, Santana, Earth Wind and Fire, and many more, Mati's creative output covered a broad range of styles and media.

Mati wrote texts to accompany many of his paintings.  The convention adopted on this site is that any text in blue, like this, is Mati's own.
